Phoenix

PHOENIX is a Ground Based Synthetic Aperture Radar (GBSAR) with imaging, interferometric and change detection capabilities for real-time displacement monitoring.

Phoenix

Main applications

PHOENIX exploits interferometric techniques (InSAR) to measure surface deformations down to 0.1mm. The main applications are ground deformation monitoring, e.g. landslides, ground subsidence, rockfalls, glaciers, avalanches and volcanoes, and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of engineering structures, e.g. bridges, buildings, towers, dams, tailings and roads.

Best user experience

PHOENIX is designed for the highest user experience. Its strength is the modular configuration of the rail platform with interlocking segments (patented), real-time on-board SAR processing and a scan time of a few seconds (patented), allowing for quick and easy installations and for the monitoring of rapid movements. It can operate 24/7 in “all-weather” conditions, also in extreme and harsh environments.

Why choose PHOENIX?

PHOENIX is fully designed and produced by ECHOES with the highest focus to the end user needs, with highly competitive costs and a full customized support service.

PHOENIX is provided with a dedicated graphic user interface that allows for the full remote system monitor and control from your host PC wherever is running (in your office or control room).

PHOENIX is suitable both for inexperienced users (through preconfigured settings) and experienced with a greater freedom of configuration compared to other systems on the market.

PHOENIX is based on a direct deramping Linear Frequency Modulated Continuous Waveform radar architecture and it is available both in single polarization (H or V) and fully polarimetric version. The very large bandwidth of the transmitted waveform allows for a range resolution down to 25 cm. PHOENIX is available both in X and Ku bands.

Advanced interferometric analysis

PHOENIX data can be processed and analyzed by TRIVIA, a powerful SAR data processing software developed by NHAZCA s.r.l., able to perform automatic real-time analyses, choosing from several data processing techniques, and to visualize the results through a user-friendly interface.
